Obligation to establish a School board in private and religious schools
Pursuant to Section 24 (1) of the School Act, the School board is an initiative and advisory self-governing body that expresses and promotes the public interests and the interests of pupils, parents, teaching staff and other employees in the field of education and training. It performs the function of public control, assesses and expresses its opinion on the activities of schools, school establishments, local state administration bodies, municipalities and self-governing regions from the point of view of school issues.
